Nara, the land of deer. These wild animals do not fear human interaction, they actually enjoy it. They wander around freely in a park that is in walking distance from Nara Park. If you ever get a chance to see them, make sure to support the local rice crackers stand near the park and treat the deer to some snacks. However once you are spotted holding anything that looks edible deer will swarm you. Also be careful of other humans as they may bump into you while you are taking pictures of deer.
