Nagaoka

Nagaoka, the place I called home for 2 years. I had made many memories here and explored this area with glee. One of my very first memories was watching Nagaoka Hanabi (長岡まつり大花火大会). What a sight to see! Our landlord allowed us to view the fireworks from the rooftop apartment building. The building was right by the Shinano-gawa (信濃川). Little did I know that it would be one of the best spots to view the fireworks. It was an unforgettable evening, full of an amazing choreographed firework display, new friends, and lots of beer かんぱい!
